Questions partners ask.
Who can join?
Anyone who works with restaurants and is at least 18: POS dealers, merchant-services agents and ISOs, consultants, agencies, and software companies. You cannot earn a commission on a restaurant you own or work for.
Does it cost anything?
No. Signing up and staying in the program are free.
How long do commissions last?
For as long as the restaurant stays a paying Maple customer. There is no expiry, step-down or cap. The 3-month figure you see on this page belongs to the merchant's discount and nothing else.
How do I get paid?
Commissions build up monthly on what the restaurant actually pays, and pay out through Dub once you add your payout details and tax form in the portal.
What if I refer other partners?
You earn 10% of the commissions every partner you bring in earns, for as long as they earn them. It goes one level deep. Email partners@maple.inc with the names of the partners you recruited and we will link them to your account.
I earn residuals on card processing. Can I keep them?
Partner terms, including how processing residuals are handled, vary with the size of your book. For larger partners there are ways to keep them, such as boarding merchants on your own MIDs, so talk to our partner team and we will walk you through the options.
Who gets credit if two partners send the same restaurant?
A lead you submit and we confirm beats a link click. Between clicks, the last one before the restaurant buys wins. Restaurants already talking to Maple do not count.
Do I have to sell or support Maple myself?
Not as a referral partner. You make the introduction and we run the demo, onboarding and support. If you would rather own the customer and the billing, the reseller track is built for that.
I am already a partner through Dub. Do I need to sign up again?
No. Sign in at partners.maple.inc with the email you used on Dub and we link your existing account, referrals and earnings.
Referral partners work under the partner program terms and resellers under the reseller terms. Current rates always show in the portal. Questions: partners@maple.inc.
